Newly created strategic position within the legal sector to manage and drive forward both knowledge management and research initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Help to manage future knowledge management and research technology developments and solutions and champion their implementation and engagement.
Raise awareness within the firm of the K.M. strategy and collaborate with other key stakeholders so that employees gain a full understanding.  
Develop governance structures and cultivate networks of champions across the practices to maximise engagement and uptake.
Lead performance and remuneration processes and direct a well-established team to leverage the firm’s intellectual capital and knowledge.
Develop and manage strategic vendor and partner relationships and optimise third party content services.
Advise on, set and manage the regional budgets.
Manage project risks, issues and interdependencies and comply with risk management obligations and responsibilities
Maintain a high performance culture where team members are engaged and inspired to work at their highest capacity.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Management or Legal qualification or similar
Many years of relevant leadership experience at senior level in a similar role
Proven experience in initiating activities that contribute to meeting an organisation’s strategic objectives and successful management of change related to such activities.
High calibre communication and influencing skills.
High autonomy and demonstrated ability to exercise judgement in when to collaborate, escalate or directly intervene to anticipate opportunities and solve problems.
Demonstrated ability to innovate and respond to changes in a sophisticated market.
